Maternity / Paternity Leave


Maternity Leave: This leave provides an approved absence for an expectant or new mother for the birth & care of a newborn child. If eligible, maternity leave is covered under the Short Term Disability (STD) plan & may also run concurrent with FMLA. Adoption leave is also available under FMLA. Visit the STD page for eligibility criteria based upon your employee classification.

Extended Maternity Leave: This policy provides eligible employees with a period of paid time off, following short-term disability, allowing biological mothers the opportunity to recuperate.

Paternity Leave: The leave that a father, domestic partner, or civil union partner takes off work at the birth or adoption of a child. Visit the FMLA page for eligibility & application criteria.
